Service Description

*NOTE: Please see "Upcoming Events" on our home page for all scheduled Masterclasses. Please use "Contact Us" if interested in hosting us. With over 3 decades worth of meticulous and continual research devoted to it, our evolutionary Foundations of Violence Prevention Masterclass is both a Trauma Sensitive and Informative intensive deep dive in the prevention and defense of social and antisocial violence and abuse. According to 99% of participants, "No one should be teaching self defense without taking this course”. Our Masterclass attracts professionals from all over the world such as India's FairFight Coordinator, Trisat's Situational Intelligence Director in England, a New Zealand martial arts club owner with a PhD in Cognitive Psychology, the Executive Director for Pelea Callejera Global Outreach in Ecuador, a Personal Development and ADHD Coach from Australia along with self protection instructors, lawyers, law enforcement officers, social workers, entrepreneurs, bodyguards, schoolteachers, psychotherapists and more. Held over 4 days, 8 hours per day (with breaks), we provide breakfast, lunch, snacks and beverage throughout (NOTE* meals only included in Montreal Canada held Masterclasses, beverages including coffee, tea and water are provided globally). This course is strictly limited to a maximum number of 14 participants per class. We provide a private, personal and comfortable platform for this extremely intensive course while delivering highly sensitive content inevitably bringing forth the desire to share extremely personal stories, thus our Masterclasses are never recorded. Though a manual is presented to participants, we highly recommend note taking as the amount of information delivered is nothing short of overwhelming and we do not permit recordings. Please make sure you are dressed comfortably to sit and have your mind fed 8 hours a day. Course content includes but not limited to, the differences between self defense, fighting and martial arts, social and antisocial violence, trauma sensitive teaching, the effects of trauma on violence, what constitutes behavioral red and green flags, recognizing antisocial personality behaviors, appropriate and non provocative boundary settings, proven de-escalation strategies, legal and moral implications, scenario replications and much more. All participants receive our full library of instructional materials. https://www.yourselfdefenseexperts.com/shop We hope to see you in our next one!
